BERES

TECHNOLOGY

Larger head size makes it much easier to hit than previous models. BERES W106.

  • A large moment of inertia and a wide sweet spot reduce loss of distance from missed shots.

The head size is slightly bigger than the traditional model.

  • Large head size gives comfort at address.

  • The sweet area is wide and the moment of inertia is also expanded, to reduce distance loss and keep accuracy even at mis-hits.

Making the back face slightly thinner in parts creates excess weight, with a slightly larger face size than before.

The surplus weight was produced by thinning the thickness us the wall from the back face. This allows us to design the face size slightly bigger and easier to hit.

The part which was made thinner is not the hitting point, therefore, the influence does not affect hitting feeling nor spin performance. Therefore, the influence does not affact hitting feeling nor spin performace.

Round edge adapts to shots from almost any lie.

Goose rate 1.5mm

  • With an appropriate offset, this wedge is easy to pick up the ball from any lie. The round edge shape makes it easy to hit shots.

  • The blade shape wraps around the ball, creating a sense of confidence and easy aim.

  • The wide sole shape facilitates swing-through, which can reduce misses.

HONMA's unique plating process

Proprietary nickel finish with a high friction coefficient enables maximum spin off the face. Entire face is CNC machined, to provide a more precise degree of flatness.

The sole face, which is in contact with grass and sand, uses a tougher nickel-chrome finish with a low friction coefficient. The sole has a clean shape that slips easily under the ball from any lie, for advanced spin performance.
